How to convert feet to centimetres
One foot equals 30.48 centimetres, so multiply the number of feet by 30.48:
cm = ft × 30.48
ft = cm ÷ 30.48 (1 cm = 0.032808 ft)
Example: 4 ft → 4 × 30.48 = 121.92 cm.
Going the other way, divide by 30.48, or multiply by 0.032808; the centimetres to feet converter does it for you.

When you need this conversion
Height is the most common reason to convert feet to centimetres. Remember that feet-and-inches heights are not decimals: 5 ft 6 in is 5.5 ft, not 5.6 ft. For a height like 5 ft 9 in, convert both parts: 5 × 30.48 + 9 × 2.54 = 175.3 cm. The table below uses decimal feet.
