How to convert centimetres to metres
One centimetre equals 0.01 metres, so multiply the number of centimetres by 0.01:
m = cm × 0.01
cm = m ÷ 0.01 (1 m = 100 cm)
Example: 30 cm → 30 × 0.01 = 0.3 m.
Going the other way, divide by 0.01, or multiply by 100; the metres to centimetres converter does it for you.
