How to convert terabytes to gigabytes

One terabyte equals 1,000 gigabytes, so multiply the number of terabytes by 1,000:

GB = TB × 1,000
TB = GB ÷ 1,000 (1 GB = 0.001 TB)

Example: 2 TB → 2 × 1,000 = 2,000 GB.

Going the other way, divide by 1,000, or multiply by 0.001; the gigabytes to terabytes converter does it for you.
